Food Science and Technology Research Institute Khorasan province is considered as one of the hubs of food industry in Iran. The industry’s wide range of activities on the one hand and the necessity of compliance with the standards and improving the quality of the products on the other, have led the industry owners to consider research as one of the inevitable parts of their management. In the field of food industry, Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR), Khorasan-e Razavi Branch started its activities in 1990 (1369) and obtained the final approval for the Food Industry Research Group in 1994 (1373).
